Hi & Welcome to the pink rooms my space, my name is Craig most people call me Skully! (nothing to do with X-Files just my surname) Anyways I'm one of the owners of The Pink Rooms.
I'd thought I'd write a bit about who I am and what The Pink Rooms is all about!
I've personally been on the scene in Swindon for just over two years and in that time I've been fortunate enough to have met some of the most beautiful people in the world and they know who they are x.
The Pink Rooms has been created as a pink venue, something new fresh and fabulous for the beautiful people of swindon and it's surrounding areas. Our aim is to add a touch of class to an already vibrant scene. We have lounge areas, V.I.P. areas and club areas, these rooms make up what is now known as The Pink Rooms.
Many people have asked me why we don't display a rainbow flag, so here's my response:
I would firstly like to say I love the rainbow flag and all it represents but i do feel it is now a little outdated...
The rainbow represented the fight for gay rights the right to have a gay community and most importantly the right to be who we want to be!
However over the past few years gay rights and communities all over the world have moved on. And gay communities now include a lot of straight men and women and quite right too. My best friend and business partner is straight and whenever we go out together we have a ball!
So the pink rooms has decided to adopt a new flag it is called The Pink Jack (www.pinkjack.com) This flag now represents a modern day gay community. The Pink Jack symbolises a new spirit we see in britain today. One of positive intergration, acceptance and inclusion. The Pink Jack celebrates these values and represents a place where gay and straight mix together free from prejudice side by side!
So I would like to say thank you to any one who has ever flown the rainbow flag, anyone who has ever fought to give me and my friends the right to be ourselves and given us the ability to fly a new flag! Without you none of this would be possible!
For those customers who have already visited us thankyou and I hope you like it, and for those of you that haven't yet, I hope to see you soon!
